Embroidery
Embroidery should be the preferred means of branding most garments, as it produces the most enduring quality finish. It is ideal for company names, text of any sort, multi coloured logos and any discreet branding. Costs are based on stitch count, with a set up fee required for all logos. Embroidery of very large logos can become prohibitively expensive and therefore, printing may be a better option, but please call us to discuss the options with you.
Artwork should be sent in electronic format or as a hard copy.
Embroidery is a very stylish, hard wearing and versatile means of customising clothing.

Typically, embroidery positions are either front left or right chest, on the top of the arm or across the back between shoulders.
Embroidery is the process of sewing a digitised design onto garments. Once we have your logo or design digitised in an embroidery software format, it can be loaded into our computerised embroidery machines for sewing. Each product that comes off of one of our machines is individually checked for compliance with our quality standards. Our goal is to ensure that your products are representative of our highest quality service every time.

Embroidery creates an impression of quality and style, which will normally outlast any garment onto which it is applied. Recent advances in embroidery software mean that design/set up costs can be relatively low and the new generation of embroidery machines run quickly with any number of colours being applied in a single operation. However, large designs or logos with more than 9 colours can be time consuming to produce, thus, costs can increase significantly in relation to this.
PROS – long lasting, looks expensive, full colour at no extra cost
CONS – more expensive than printing, especially for large designs and not always suitable for very light materials |

Embroidery Pricing - When you place an order for embroidered clothing there are two charges: -
Embroidery Set Up (Digitising)
- The first is an embroidery
set-up charge which covers the cost of
having the design digitised and a jacquard
created. This is a one off charge as once
we have done this your design is stored,
hence, if you place a repeat order using
the same design, you only pay for the
garments. The only time that you
will pay any extra set-up, is, if you
want to change the design in any way i.e.
adding to or taking out part of the logo.
Embroidery Per Item - The second embroidery charge is a ‘per item’ charge which applies to each item that is customised. This charge basically covers the cost of labour, materials and our other manufacturing overheads. The per item charge is directly based on the number of items to be embroidered with the same logo and the number of stitches:
Artwork Guidelines
- It is important that your
garments are customised perfectly. You
may have a design already made or you
might like us to create one for you.
Either way we must receive the artwork
in a suitable format i.e. hard copy,
.jpg or .eps file, otherwise, charges
may apply. Remember, the finished
embroidery can only be as good as the
artwork supplied.
